As this is an AU of sorts, it wouldn't hurt to have a little planning and coordination. See if some characters don't start off knowing each other or anything like that. AU your dudes as much or as little as possible; this is the place to do it! Build your social links, be part of the world.

About them: A polite teen raised in the upper crust of society. Well-behaved, courteous and something of an idealist, Cornelius has the makings of an excellent leader and a fierce warrior. Unfortunately, his loyalties are split between his family's company and his lover, Velvet.
AU info: He's the heir to the Titania corporation, a business that planted its roots in Tokyo back in the early 90s. He studied abroad for some time and returned to Tokyo a year or two ago, where he met the love of his life, Velvet. His grandfather, Gallon, still holds an unwelcome presence in his life despite his death early in Cornelius' life. This can be attributed to both the influence he had on his company and the fear he instilled in Cornelius' father, Edmund...
Persona and arcana: Liu Bei, Emperor arcana. Cornelius cuts his tarot card in two to summon this benevolent hero of the three kingdoms period.
Superhero theme: Not much of a costume so much as a full-on transformation. When the time comes to enter the realm of shadows, Cornelius takes on a more cartoony appearance for reasons he doesn't comprehend. It's been like that since his first trip to the TV world, where he woke up there without any recollection of how he got there...
Cornelius' hero alias is Vanguard.
Superpower: His small size grants him added agility and sharper hearing thanks to the ears. If he concentrates hard enough, he can hear the cries of those in need of help so he can rush to their aid. The better he knows the person, the easier it is to track them down.
CR goals: While definitely a rich kid, he's far from stuffy. Cornelius just wants people to accept him for who he is, regardless of his heritage and his occasional shift into a
furrybeast. Anyone who can do that is a-ok in his book!Other Info We Should Know: Bunnies. Just...bunnies.
Madoka
About them: 14 years old. A good girl who never lies. Madoka's starting her first year of high school in Tokyo and living with her happy, loving family. Her dad stays at home and takes care of their sizable home and her younger brother Tatsuya, her mom's a successful businesswoman and her baby brother is adorable and basically loves everyone. She doesn't have the highest opinion of herself and also doesn't have many talents to call her own, but Madoka does her best when she can, even if all she can do is put on a happy face and be the kindly girl she's known as.
Persona and arcana: Pandora, Fool arcana. Madoka folds her hands and concentrates, as if making a wish. Unfolding her hands reveals a small jewel containing the symbol of her arcana, which becomes the core of her persona.
Superhero theme: A magical girl, surprising literally everyone who's ever known the name Madoka Kaname. The pinkest, cutest magical girl ever, obviously. With an equally pink mask to actually cover her face. Her hero alias is Heart.
Guess what her favorite color is.
Superpower: With the power of the Wild Card, Madoka can tap into powers of other arcana. Unlike traditional Wild Cards, she cannot summon personas outside of her own. Instead, she can replicate the powers of others around her, albeit to a lesser intensity.
CR goals: SHE IS A PRECIOUS CINNAMON ROLL, EVERYONE HUG THE CINNAMON ROLL. No really, she's good with anyone and everyone, so all the CR is welcome

Mikasa
About them: Outwardly cold and distant and even otherworldly at times. Mikasa can be difficult to approach, especially as her self-centered tendencies leave her only getting involved in matters if she has a stake in it. Beneath this is a heart that can care too much, one she's afraid of showing after childhood experiences showed her how cruel the world can be. Because of this, when Mikasa is determined enough to see a matter through to the end, she pushes herself to her very limits to resolve the problem.
AU info: Mikasa was orphaned at a young age, a traumatic experience that broke the illusion of the world being a happy, beautiful place. She was soon after adopted by the Jaeger family, whom she grew deeply attached to. She was an only child in both families, so she never had a sibling to lean on and didn't make too many friends growing up. As someone so afraid of opening up, she's alone now more than ever, with high school ahead of her and no idea what to do with her life...
Persona and arcana: Demeter, Lovers arcana. Mikasa can summon her persona through willpower alone.
Superhero theme: She dons a kunoichi style outfit paired with her traditional red scarf veiling the lower half of her face. Her hero alias is Death Blossom.
Superpower: Adaptive muscle memory. If movements are possible for the human body to perform, Mikasa can learn and replicate them perfectly after seeing them performed once.
CR goals: Mikasa really, really needs people to help get her out of her shell. She's afraid to care that much again in fear of being hurt, but she'll also need people able to work through that thick armor, whether through brute force or charming their way through to her.

Gil
About them: Gil is loud, proud and unquestionably hot headed. Prone to getting into trouble (mostly fights), this urban young adult is brash, but generally honest. He works at the smithy and loves making things with his hands, despite being rather big and oafish-looking. He's kind of a mama's boy, but making fun of that will get you punched. As will making fun of the baby seal plushie he cuddles with in his sleep.
AU info: Gil and his mother, Syldania, spent most of their lives in America, but moved to Tokyo ten years prior due to issues his mother doesn't talk too much about. She got involved with the wrong kind of people and fled the country to keep herself and her son away from it. Life was rough, especially as Gil had to drop out of school to help pay the bills, but he made himself comfortable in his blacksmithing job. Of course, this is all before the story suddenly drops on the entire cast...
Persona and arcana: Arges, Chariot arcana. Gil strikes a pose of some kind and the sheer manliness of the stance is enough to conjure his persona.
Superhero theme: He's a fully armored warrior. Given his weapon choice of a guan dao, his armor best replicates dragoons from classic RPGs. His hero alias is Firestarter.
Superpower: Enhanced smithing. Gil already has a talent for crafting things, but through Arges' power, he can handle more unusual materials to make more complicated items, such as, say, using monster parts to create weapons and armor.
CR goals: Make fun of him, enjoy pissing him off, get him to make stuff for you, I'm game for whatever! The poor guy's probably gonna need some good friends throughout the story.

About them: A shy girl who spends a lot of her time on the internet, researching all manner of things, but gravitating towards video games. Totally a giant nerd, but with the social anxiety she has, it's difficult for her to be that open with people face to face. At least the internet has the barrier of a computer screen between people, even if that hasn't always served her best. She's big on music, too.
AU info: As an assistant in the Velvet Room, Matilda had a...questionable existence. While she did have a lot of time to study personas and shadows, she grew an interest in humans and how they functioned and decided to learn more about them through their popular tool: the internet. This was not the wisest decision. Needless to say, she'll be excited to meet a group of them over the course of the story...
Persona and arcana: Priestess arcana. Hard to guess what an attendant's persona is since they have an entire compendium to choose from. She pulls their cards out from her compendium like it's a binder filled with her collection.
Superhero theme: Kind of can't get too involved in the plot because she's an attendant, sorry to say. That is, of course, unless the party gets her to like them enough that they can convince her. Then there'll be one more challenge left to face...
Superpower: Musical enhancements. She can broadcast her music and what she plays can affect her allies. Aggressive metal would boost attack and speed, etc.
CR goals: SHE'S A SHUT-IN, HELP HER FIX THIS. Being a velvet room attendant doesn't mean she can't hang out with the group; she might push the idea herself because curious.
Other Info We Should Know: Her internet handle is Tilde, as in ~. It's like a pun and a mix of her first and last name.
Gwendolyn
About them: A young woman with an overwhelming amount of self-doubt. She has difficulty thinking highly of herself from being so poorly mistreated by her father all her life. Though she's received such from her sister Griselda and even her half-sister Velvet, she's still left trying to earn the affections of someone who seems to care very little for her. Despite this, Gwendolyn is a talented individual who puts her heart into everything she does and fiercely defends her beliefs, whatever they may be.
AU info: She's a teenager attending Minoru high school and also a member of the gymnastics team. Her natural grace lead to her becoming one of the more capable athletes. Her sister, Griselda, studies abroad and makes regular visits to the household, mostly to visit her sister. Odin's still an asshole and mistreating Gwen, but rather than try to get some macguffin ring for him, she overworks herself to try and impress him. Extracurricular activities, studying hard, a part time job, but none of it's enough. She stresses herself out regularly.
Persona and arcana: Brynhildr, Empress arcana. She stabs her tarot card with her spear.
Superhero theme: Valkyrie armor, including a full helmet to keep her face hidden. It's adorned with feathers to give it a bird theme.
Superpower: Flight. Gwendolyn summons a pair of wings that can carry her through the air with no trouble.
CR goals: This poor girl needs some serious self-esteem boosts and also maybe move out of her father's house? She's probably one of “The popular girls” in school known for her looks, but more than anything wants to be appreciated for who she is and treated like an actual human being.
Other Info We Should Know: She may be a Disney princess. Kind of.
Koh
About them: A lovable puppy with a deep love of plants and animals. He's generally adorable and loves to be cuddled, especially pets. He's innocent and doesn't know too much about the world around him, something he's learning about almost constantly. He knows he's loyal to those he cares for and will go out of his way to make them happy.
AU info: Born from the successes of the Kirijo group's anti-shadow robots, Kohaku was developed as an alternate, more support-based kind of robot. He still possesses combative capabilities, but his primary function is the wellness of his assigned team. Battling shadows and wielding personas is an exhausting ordeal, some that can involve facing personal dilemmas and developing traumas. Koh's role is to provide therapeutic comfort to those he's assigned to, whether it's listening to their problems or cooking their favorite foods for them.
And the Tokyo team received a model all their own.
Persona and arcana: Hachiko, Aeon Arcana. Koh's howl evokes his persona into being.
Superhero theme: Like the other robots, Koh doesn't really dress up when it comes to going out and fighting shadow. He just goes out and...does his thing. Pretty sure anti-shadow bots are common enough that they don't need to hide themselves.
Superpower: Being a robot means he has much more strength and endurance than your standard persona user. His abilities come in the form of a calligraphy-based spellcasting that require the symbol to be drawn before the effect can take place. He primarily uses this to grow and maintain flowers.
CR goals: HE'S HERE TO OFFER ALL THE SNUGGLES. Also because he's still learning about the world, he'd deeply appreciate anyone willing to teach him stuff. Anything you wanna teach him! He'll happily listen to anything you have to say to him.
Other Info We Should Know: He's 4' exactly in height, so most of the group, if not everyone, will be taller than him.

About them: Quiet, aloof, and dangerous, he has a resting face that makes people either want to avoid him or hit him. Trained to be brutal and efficient in battle, he doesn't know much of a life outside of espionage. He often acts on his own, but he really just wants to gain a peaceful life.
AU info: Once an heir of the Titania Corporation that rooted itself in Tokyo during the 90s, his grandfather, Gallon, hired kidnappers to take him from his home because his father married outside of their class. Though intercepted by Melvin Damos of a rival corporation, Oswald was raised to become a hitman and spy for Ringford, Inc. He's reasonably come to despise both his grandfather and Melvin (see Dungeon later), and has a uncertain relationship with his parents upon finding out the truth. Only Cornelius really seems to put up with him in the halls of Minoru High...
Persona and arcana: Lü Bu, Tower Arcana. He breaks his card in his hand in order to personally follow up with his blade.
Superhero theme: A Modern Black Knight. Though he dons armor, he doesn't wear a helm going for a mask instead.
Superpower: Berserk. More at ease with his Shadow after accepting it, his Persona doesn't mind letting a little more power bleed into him... though, increased strength and speed can come at the cost of momentarily losing his mind.
CR goals: His life sucks and he doesn't know how to socialize. He needs people outside of his cousin to befriend him and help lower his impulsiveness to use punching things as a solution.
Other Info We Should Know: Edgelord. That is all.
Rosalia
About them: A bright ball of sunshine and very naive. She's honest to a fault and wears her emotions on her sleeve so it's never too hard to tell how she's feeling. Easily fascinated by almost everything, she likes gardening and is up for cooking for everyone (additional items for dungeon crawling)
AU info: A teenage girl living with Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome, she doesn't attend public school and is frequently in the hospital. She lives nearby the establishment with her adoptive father and adopted brother, and pretty much knows everyone on the hospital staff. Despite having very few friends at the hospital around her age and none outside the hospital, she's still gives off an amazingly positive vibe and smile.
Persona and arcana: Her starting persona is Psyche and her Arcana is the Sun. As support, she doesn't really have a method to summon and just... does.
Superhero theme: Since she hangs back and observes, Rosalia doesn't need to go into public and thus doesn't require a superhero theme.
Superpower: She has a good perception of people's moods and can easily locate them.
CR goals: She wants to get to know and befriend everyone on the team. She's shy at first, but once characters get to know her, she definitely wants to take care of them.
Other Info We Should Know: Don't worry, she's not infectious in this RP.
Adrien
About them: Calm, chivalrous, and kind, Adrien is someone who surprises many by pretty much being the opposite of his father. Sure, he's been shut-in most of his life and doesn't possess so much street smart, but he manages to remain positive and persevere through tough times.
AU info: Born as the only child to an international fashion icon, he's lived a life of privilege and loneliness. With a missing mother, a workaholic father, and a few friends (read: one), he keeps a self-imposed busy schedule, trying to get his dad to pay some attention to him. Coming to Tokyo to help promote a new line being launched, at least he's allowed to attend public school for once... if only because his father was, again, too busy to arrange for tutors this time, but it might only be a matter of time. Of course, with a smile, he's going to try doing everything he can...
Persona and arcana: His starter is Puss in Boots, Star Arcana. While superhero'd up, he cuts the card preferably with his claws. When not, his rapier will do.
Superhero theme: Since his father cannot find out what he's doing, Adrien goes for a theme completely unexpected of a boy to usually go with, and for clothes he wouldn't normally wear by taking on a very punniful cat disguise self-titled 'Chat Noir'.
Superpower: He might be too into the cat theme because his power is feline physiology. At least it makes him really hard to hit.
CR goals: Adrien is good for any and all interactions. He's ridiculously polite so if your character makes him uncomfortable, he probably isn't going to voice discomfort immediately.
Other Info We Should Know: He's not forthcoming with his actual emotions unless as Chat Noir. He's self-critical and becomes depressed when he's told he's failed, disappointed, etc. anyone.
Naomi
About them: Cool and collected, she's someone who willingly works around illness and death on a daily. She doesn't take nonsense and treats most issues that come to her critically. Really, she doesn't understand what it means to 'lighten up' unless generally moments involving her daughter, Alyssa.
AU info: A medical examiner at an all too familiar hospital (see: Rosalia), Naomi lives a secluded life that involved a lot of travel and a special permit to return to her home country after being given an official apology from the government. Her years in America definitely make her stand out among her co-workers, and making a living examining the dead even more so. Now, that doesn't even include her being a single mother, but again, she doesn't like too many people knowing about her personal life.
Persona and arcana: Her beginning Persona is Toyotama-hime for the Hanged Man Arcana. When she breaks her card, she's casual about it, breaking it in her hand.
Superhero theme: She doesn't take on her superhero theme often, but her theme is the Devil Doctor. She does not mind the horns, mask, or suit.
Superpower: Enhanced healing abilities... with a side effect of death hearing amplified once/if she gets Persephone.
CR goals: She's the team's healer off the clock and can also slip those supplies. As well, she is Team Mom when not Team Medic and willing to hear people out... or scold them.
Other Info We Should Know: She shouldn't try adopting everyone... I don't think.
Velvet
About them: Stern, but gentle, Velvet can be hospitable and fierce. She's very mature for her age, but has her moments of reacting without thinking especially when loved ones are involved. She's very Big Sister.
AU info: One twin born from the union between Odin and Ariel, Velvet fled her mother's home after her grandfather turned abusive. Escaping pretty much halfway across the world with her brother, Ingway, she tries (and fails) to acknowledge her father's presence in Tokyo and the lingering shadows of guilt leaving their mother behind. She's a co-owner and Head Barista of Shinjuku's Pooka Café in a long-distance relationship with Cornelius... only, it's grown closer recently.
Persona and arcana: She's Little Red with the Big Bad Wolf Persona and she represents the Fortune Arcana. She breaks her card with a crack of her whip.
Superhero theme: Her theme is reminiscent of a beautiful belly dancer, bangles, veil, and all. She prefers Scarlet Dancer, but some call her a Scarlet Princess.
Superpower: Perception. She's no where near as strong as a Support character, but thing of her as having Danger Intuition. She can pick up on nearby Shadows' ill-will as well as people's. It also provides an opportunity to counter close-ranged attacks.
CR goals: She takes classes online so not really any chance for school interactions, but if people come by the café, she doesn't mind serving them up something to drink and helping them out with any problems.
Other Info We Should Know: Uhm... baby got back? I don't know, she's stuck in all the family issues too with Gwendolyn, Oswald, and Cornelius because... AUs don't save these characters from those problems.

Minato Arisato
About them: The calm and cool protag of the third game, Minato's content to just go with the flow of life, taking whatever crazy life throws at him in stride. It's probably his only option, really, given that his life is basically an overclocked pitching machine of crazy. He's usually a quiet sort, but won't hesitate to put aside his own goals in order to help others.
AU info: The main setting is Tokyo, 2017. What's their life like here? How different from canon, if different at all? You don't have to change much of anything, if you don't want to; we're playing it fast and loose here
Persona and arcana: Minato has a few he can switch between, due to his Wild Card. For all of them, however, he uses his Evoker and shoots himself in the head.
Messiah: Universe Arcana. The quintessential "savior" of mankind in many religions.
Thor: Star Arcana. A large, mechanical turtle, one of the many colony-class spacecraft tasked with finding the mythical planet Magrathea. Constructed from the bonds made on the ship itself, lost in the far reaches of the universe.
Calice: Judgement Arcana. A pale-looking alicorn with madness-inducing eyes. A pony driven insane by a lust for knowledge, saved only by the bonds between friends. A summation of the bonds made in a colorful, otherworldly land.
Gem's Heart Blade: Not a Persona per se, but rather an incomplete one that has been fused with a scimitar, causing it to take on a blue, crystalline-like appearance. Forged from the bonds made around a mysterious temple.
Superhero theme: Minato's got a wanderer theme going on. Stereotypical tattered cloak over... whatever this mess is here.
Superpower: Other than the usual strength and endurance boost, Minato has no other abilities. However, he has better control over his Personas than most, able to keep them summoned for lengthy periods of time.
he uses this most of the time to do important things like cooking with Messiah or flying from place to place on Thor.CR goals: Minato's goal here is closure. He's been thrown around the universe, never knowing rest. Now, he has a chance to see his story to the end. ...He may need some coercion to not become a death seeker and sacrifice his life (again) for the good of others.

About them: A sad android that doesn't like to admit she has emotions. Good at deadpan and being a killjoy.
AU info: The Kirijo group started up their anti-shadow weapon program after Aigis proved to be a success with SEES and the Shadow Ops group. The eighth generation of weapons diverged significantly from the previous, making use of new technology and experimenting with the roles they would serve. There are a multitude of model types this generation, each equipped for a different role in combat. This was to emulate human cooperation and camaraderie, and hopefully allow these models to draw more of a connection with their artificially-implanted Persona. 2B herself is a combat model, designed for solo missions with only an operator and maybe a partner helping her on the field. The Kirijo group got quite a bit of mileage out of her and her generation over the several years of service, but the constant fighting of Shadows in far-off countries and other organizations of questionable ethics have taken something of a toll on her psyche, especially after having lost several units close to her in a relatively short span of time. Nonetheless, she continues her mission, which now takes her to Tokyo to investigate the mysterious sightings there.
Persona and arcana: Nirriti, Death Arcana. A Hindu goddess of death and sorrow, and ruler of the southwest direction.
Superhero theme: The concept of "theme" kinda goes over 2B's head, so she doesn't bother with silly things like costumes. Nevermind that her standard attire is about as flashy as one anyway.
Superpower: She's an android, so she's got the usual absurd strength and endurance even beyond that of a typical Persona user. In addition to that, she's got electromagnetic levitation that she uses mostly for her weapons, the ability to deconstruct and reconstruct certain items at a moment's notice, and a floating support pod that can provide ranged fire and handles long-range communication.
CR goals: 2B doesn't quite understand group dynamics besides "total obedience to superior". Someone needs to teach her how to friends.

Character Name: Kanji Tatsumi
About them: Rough around the edges with a sweet inside. Because he's a human donut he confuses a lot of people with his loud and awkward personality. But he's the kind of guy you want on your side because he's a CRUSHA AND A BRUTHA. Enjoys soft things and cute shit. Will make your superhero costume basically.
AU info: Kanji is 21, attending college in Tokyo to pursue a degree in Fine Art with a minor in Fashion Design. He's not sure if he wants to dive into the aggressive world of being a designer, but with that piece of paper in his hand he can prove that Kanji Tatsumi is NOT A FUCKING MORON.
Persona and arcana: Emperor, Takeji-Zaiten. Yeah, he's full-on level 10 Best Friend level with the protagonist. He'd be very concerned with the goings-on.
Superhero theme: Kanji has no superhero theme. He's just being himself because he's kind of a dummy. Besides, his superpower sort of removes the need for it.
Superpower: He can wear his Persona. Rather like an Iron Man-esque motif, Kanji can either summon his Persona normally or opt to "adorn" the metallic shell of Takeji-Zaiten and take the fight to the shadows himself. With it comes the force abilities, Zio spells and the lot.
CR goals: Y'all know me. I'm open to everything. I'm especially interested in playing a future!AU Kanji so THIS'LL BE FUN

Souji Seta
About them: The leader of the Investigation Team during the Inaba serial murder case in 2011, Souji has been around the block when it comes to Shadow shenanigans. Calm, collected with a quiet but weird sense of humour, Souji knows how to listen and what to say when friends are in trouble. Dedicated to finding the 'Truth', Souji made sure both the culprit of the case and the major influence behind it were put in their place.
AU info: Souji's has a bit of a secret he's kept from even the Investigation Team; he's actually a time looper. Living through that year in Inaba twice in order to find the 'Truth' as well as try to deal with his desire to not be left alone has put him in an awkward position in terms of his memories and his powers. Now 22 and nearing college graduation, Souji's faced with figuring out what the heck he wants to do with his life as well as the subconscious desire to draw people close to him. Izanagi-o-Okami's powers may have caused some issues unwittingly to the citizens of Tokyo, but how much is Souji's subconscious powers leaking through the collective unconscious and how much is someone else's sinister influence is still unknown. Either way, Souji will rise to the challenge of leadership again to help these new kids figure their shit out.
Persona and arcana: World Arcana, though he originally was the Fool; capable of switching to different ones, he has Persona that represent his strong bonds with his friends in Inaba.
World/Fool:Izanagi/Izanagi-no-Okami is something he uses to help people lost in the Metaverse/TV World.

Superpower: Along with Speed/Endurance/Dexterity/Flight, Souji has increased Empathy, allowing him to connect with people easily. It can make him overly sensitive to people’s pain, however.
CR goals: All the friends. Pet all the kitties. Maybe deal with his issues a little.

Persona and arcana: Chesnaught's Arcana is Strength and his Persona is Durendal, the legendary unbreakable sword of Roland (and practically a heroic figure in its own right.) It bears a more-than-passing resemblance to Aegislash.
Superhero theme: It's kinda hard to hide his looks, but if he had to pick a name for himself it'd probably be something goofy and on-the-nose like "The Great Protector" or "The Spiky Shield".
Superpower: Dude's already got superpowers. He regenerates, he summons spikes, he can shield just about anything, and he's got the almighty DRAIN PUNCH. Which he probably calls out on use.
CR goals: I just want the poor guy to make some friends. He tries his hardest to make good connections- after all, he's used to working as part of a team.

Marinette
About them: An aspiring fashion designer and the daughter of two passionate bakers, at her core Marinette is kind, cheerful, generous and outgoing, willing to lend a hand and stick up for those in need. Though at times she may be clumsy, tend to get anxious over "worst-case scenarios", or be prone to making rash, emotion-fuelled decisions of questionable morality, she truly does have the best of intentions behind her actions.
AU info: The single daughter of Tom Dupain and Sabine Cheng, Marinette had a relatively normal life growing up. She lived a modest lifestyle, her parents doing their best to support her while also balancing their responsibilities of owning and operating a bakery. She grew up as many typical girls did, learning from her parents and attending school like normal.
As an aspiring fashion designer, Marinette entered into many fashion-related contests, hoping to both test her own creativity and to try and get noticed by anyone who might be interested in her designs. When her school offered a contest wherein competitors were to design bowler hats that would be judged by fashion mogul Gabriel Agreste, she entered and ended up winning the competition (and managed to thwart one Chloe Bourgeois, the class diva who tried to copy her design and take credit for it). Little did she know that winning that competition would result in Mr. Agreste being interested in her designs and willing to offer her a study-abroad program in Tokyo, where she would help and learn from the promoters showcasing the new Gabriel fashion line.
This is her first serious time away from her parents, but she is excited for the opportunity to learn from the pros and take her first real steps into the fashion industry.
Persona and arcana: Her initial persona is Minerva, of the Lovers Arcana. Whether in superhero guise or not, Marinette breaks her card by reaching up and breaking it with her hand.
Superhero theme: Though being a superhero is thrilling and an important job, Marinette also understands the importance of keeping one's identity a secret. Wanting something completely different from her usual attire, Marinette dons a red and black polka-dotted disguise and the self-given name of 'Ladybug'.
Superpower: Restoration, to a degree. Marinette is able to channel Minerva's power and use it to repair damaged buildings and objects. What she can repair depends on how much power she channels; greater restorations require more power, and she needs to rest in between big projects. Her power is limited to damage that has specifically been caused by shadows or personas.
CR goals: I'm honestly good for any interactions here! Marinette is easy to get along with and once she becomes a part of the team proper will do her best to get to the bottom of the shadow problem. I'm also up for negative CR if you would wish; Marinette can be a bit stubborn and rash at times, leading to some bad results that bite her in the behind later on down the road. Just let me know what you think and we can work something out!
Other Info We Should Know: Due to my work schedule I tend to work evenings (save for Sundays, Tuesdays, and Saturday evenings) so sadly don't expect tags from me during the late afternoon/early evening. Rise
About them: Perky mischievous idol who wants to enjoy life, and wants her actions to matter. Keeping her self-identity under her own control is a constant process.
AU info: More or less canon compliant! I play fast and loose with canons outside of mainline persona games since I haven't played them. Rise is a professional idol again, just as popular if not more so than she was before, and she does love her career even if her fans have gotten a bit. Older. (And therefore worse.) She considers it a challenge accepted to keep her career going and fight shadows at the same time. She has been travelling and busy and hasn't seen much of her Inaba friends in a long time, save for Souji, who she always goes to great lengths to make time for.
Persona and arcana: Kanzeon, The Lovers
Superhero theme: MAGICAL GIRL THEME HECK YEAH. I'm thinking mostly Cardcaptor Sakura style outfits. Really floofy and cute with wings and stars and all that jazz. She does a whole little transformation sequence integrated into her card-smashing summoning goodness. She can take her time and add flair to it since she doesn't have to summon constantly throughout battles. Heck yes etc.
Superpower: Her Third Eye stuff! She can sense shadows and living things, and can map out areas in search of things. If she works very hard at it she can basically scry an area from afar. Especially powerful if she can use a teammate as an anchor.
When she's in a dire situation and needs to defend herself, she does have some soundwave abilities in Superhero Magical Girl form as well! Mostly defensive, she can blast a radius with sound to get shadows to back off, or cause some minor to middling damage with focused attacks. She uses a microphone as a prop to sing into, or "fling" the sound at shadows. It's unclear if the mic is necessary or not. (Spoilers: it isn't.)
CR goals: Just silly friendship nonsense, really. Maybe some light rivalry! I just want to get comfortable in my Rise Pants and inflict her energy on people.

About them: This reminds me of a puzzle. Layton is described as pleasant, genial, and a gentleman in all things. He is calm, level-headed, and an above all loves mysteries and puzzles. At his worse, he may come across as aloof and reserved, and at his best he is described as everyone's father.
AU info: Professor Hershel Layton is coming to Shibuya at the behest of the Titania Corporation as a instructor of history and archeology at Mitakihara University and to aid TC in their investigation of the abductions. THIS IS A FRONT, as the primary goal is to put a well-respected face to their shading dealings and to make it look as though they're doing something. HOWEVER, Layton himself agreed not only because of his love of the mystery and helping the abductees, but because he has heard some suspicions rumors about the Titania Corporation.
Persona and arcana: Solomon, Justice Arcana
Superhero theme: The Gentleman. Its basically Layton's outfit with a black mask and a cape. Because he's fucking PROFESSOR LAYTON.
CR goals: Layton's built to be the father for all the youngin's. He's basically like a more chill version of Dojima. That said, he also wants to take the lead in discovering the mystery of the Shibuya Kidnappings, and will do everything he can to protect the kids from hurting themselves.
Other Info We Should Know: I am currently unemployed and seeking a job, so I have quite a lot of availability (save for the fact that I want to deal with the problem of employment.) I also have events going on Thursday and Friday.

Superpower: Enhanced strength, but only lasts an hour or two. It requires a few hours and a good meal to be able to perform again.

About them: Robot girl with a Boston accent, Labrys is the only remaining unit of the 5th generation. She is a caring individual who grows attached to people quickly. Although she was built as a combat weapon, she has no desire to fight, except in the defense of others or herself. She upholds the ideals of student council president in her everyday life. Always responsible, she expects and urges other to do the same.
AU info: She is canon compliant, having gone through the events of P4A and P4AU. After spending some time travelling, she’s currently employed by the Kirijo Group as one of their operatives.
Persona and arcana: Ariadne, Wheel of Fortune
Superhero theme: She doesn’t really have a costume so much as she stops hiding the robot parts. The visor on her head is usually pulled down to hide her face.
Superpower: As an android, she has durability surpassing most humans and damaged parts can be replaced given enough time and labor. She also has increased strength beyond the increased strength granted by her persona. Her axe doubles as thrusters, allowing her to fly. In addition, her hands are attached by long chains and can be propelled forward.
CR goals: I DIDN’T THINK THAT FAR AHEAD. Just let her make friends or develop her canon ones more.
