Souji Seta

Character Name: Souji Seta

About them: The leader of the Investigation Team during the Inaba serial murder case in 2011, Souji has been around the block when it comes to Shadow shenanigans. Calm, collected with a quiet but weird sense of humour, Souji knows how to listen and what to say when friends are in trouble. Dedicated to finding the 'Truth', Souji made sure both the culprit of the case and the major influence behind it were put in their place.

AU info: Souji's has a bit of a secret he's kept from even the Investigation Team; he's actually a time looper. Living through that year in Inaba twice in order to find the 'Truth' as well as try to deal with his desire to not be left alone has put him in an awkward position in terms of his memories and his powers. Now 22 and nearing college graduation, Souji's faced with figuring out what the heck he wants to do with his life as well as the subconscious desire to draw people close to him. Izanagi-o-Okami's powers may have caused some issues unwittingly to the citizens of Tokyo, but how much is Souji's subconscious powers leaking through the collective unconscious and how much is someone else's sinister influence is still unknown. Either way, Souji will rise to the challenge of leadership again to help these new kids figure their shit out.

Persona and arcana: World Arcana, though he originally was the Fool; capable of switching to different ones, he has Persona that represent his strong bonds with his friends in Inaba.

World/Fool:Izanagi/Izanagi-no-Okami is something he uses to help people lost in the Metaverse/TV World.

Superhero theme: He basically wears Izanagi’s original design. Super Bancho boy. If things get dire, he will transform into Izanagi-no-Okami form

Superpower: Along with Speed/Endurance/Dexterity/Flight, Souji has increased Empathy, allowing him to connect with people easily. It can make him overly sensitive to people’s pain, however.

CR goals: All the friends. Pet all the kitties. Maybe deal with his issues a little.

Ryotaro Dojima

Character Name: Ryotaro Dojima

About them: A detective from the small town of Inaba, Dojima gives off the image at first of being ‘Hardboiled’. Stoic, practical, rough around the edges and rather serious when it comes to work, all that belies a rather caring and compassionate personality. He’s just… not exactly the best at expressing that side of him without stumbling. A widower now after the untimely death of his wife Chisato, Dojima struggled with how to relate to and properly raise his young daughter Nanako despite the grief he was feeling. The serial murder case in Inaba wore on him as due to both its supernatural nature and Dojima being very grounded in reality, he couldn’t figure out the true culprit or even the cause of death of the first two murder victims. And then you know, Souji being somehow involved, his daughter getting kidnapped, then dying before his eyes, and then being miraculously revived, and THEN his junior partner actually being the murderer all along, using supernatural powers involving the TV...

Dojima is very sick of all these shenanigans.

So obviously I’m going to force him to do more of them.

AU info: Due to his experience in the Inaba Serial Murder case and the similarities of the incidents in Tokyo, Dojima gets called in to help investigate. He’s not exactly pleased about this fact, as he feels like a fish out of water in a big city like Tokyo, and worries about Nanako adjusting to the city.

Or maybe adjusting too well to the city.

Persona and Arcana: He’s of the Hierophant Arcana, and when he eventually does awaken, his Initial Persona would be Oda Nobunaga, and his Ultimate persona is Hachiman. Abilities are Hama centered, physical attacks and mute causing status abilities.

Superhero theme: His design is basically this! Bottom Mask included

Superpower: Think ‘Captain America’ in terms of his abilities. With the added benefit that he’s bullet proof and generally has heightened senses. Now he can really taste just how crappy all this instant coffee is.

CR goals: Maybe help this guy loosen up, learn to relax. Become a super dad. Y’know. Normal stuff.
