As this is an AU of sorts, it wouldn't hurt to have a little planning and coordination. See if some characters don't start off knowing each other or anything like that. AU your dudes as much or as little as possible; this is the place to do it! Build your social links, be part of the world.

And never forget to bring SP recovering items. You're fucked if your SP hits 0.

About them: A sentence or two of what they're like, what they're into, general personality stuff.
AU info: The main setting is Tokyo, 2017. What's their life like here? How different from canon, if different at all? You don't have to change much of anything, if you don't want to; we're playing it fast and loose here
Persona and arcana: It's a persona game, so having these is kinda mandatory. And no, you're not hard locked in terms of how you summon them. Break tarot cards, use evokers, rip off your face, do the macarena, the choice is yours.
Superhero theme: Due to reasons, the characters take up the mantle of superheroes to protect the city from the ever looming shadow threat. What's their costume like? Do they have a cool name? Have fun with this part.
Superpower: Enhanced strength and endurance come natural with having a persona, but oftentimes you'll get a power unique to you. Laser eyes? Even more strength? You decide!
CR goals: Anything in particular you'd like to do with your character? Say so here and see if these wonderful people can't help make that happen!

I only have two here for now, so I'll put 'em in their own things.

Character Name: Kanji Tatsumi
About them: Rough around the edges with a sweet inside. Because he's a human donut he confuses a lot of people with his loud and awkward personality. But he's the kind of guy you want on your side because he's a CRUSHA AND A BRUTHA. Enjoys soft things and cute shit. Will make your superhero costume basically.
AU info: Kanji is 21, attending college in Tokyo to pursue a degree in Fine Art with a minor in Fashion Design. He's not sure if he wants to dive into the aggressive world of being a designer, but with that piece of paper in his hand he can prove that Kanji Tatsumi is NOT A FUCKING MORON.
Persona and arcana: Emperor, Takeji-Zaiten. Yeah, he's full-on level 10 Best Friend level with the protagonist. He'd be very concerned with the goings-on.
Superhero theme: Kanji has no superhero theme. He's just being himself because he's kind of a dummy. Besides, his superpower sort of removes the need for it.
Superpower: He can wear his Persona. Rather like an Iron Man-esque motif, Kanji can either summon his Persona normally or opt to "adorn" the metallic shell of Takeji-Zaiten and take the fight to the shadows himself. With it comes the force abilities, Zio spells and the lot.
CR goals: Y'all know me. I'm open to everything. I'm especially interested in playing a future!AU Kanji so THIS'LL BE FUN

Character Name: Guzma
About them: Ex-delinquent asshole who is trying not to push people away but still acts abrasive at times. Namely, "Ami has a character type".
AU info: Guzma once ruled the streets with his boys and his girls, the Skulls. When the strangeness started, claiming the minds of his gangmates, Guzma went to investigate and wound up stolen away to the TV world in its prior incarnation. With it he faced his Shadow, before his rescue by the strange bunny, Cornelius. He owes the little guy a debt, but needs some pointers on what the hell is going on.
Persona and arcana: Moon Arcana, with his persona being Beelzebub. Now, yes, it IS Devil normally, but this incarnation blends Baal Zebul with the insectoid Beel, resembling a giant insect warrior wielding multiple blades. (For you FF14 nerds, think Ravana).
Superhero theme: Rather than cover up the symbols all over his clothing, Guzma wears them proud. He doesn't mind putting on a little rhyme before declaring he'll kick your ass. He's in it to avenge the fallen Skulls and restore the gang to its former glory... or change them for the better. That depends on ~Social Link Progression~...
Superpower: Communication and control of bugs. The bees are always watching.
CR goals: Redeem him. Treat him right. Or pick fights with him. I don't care. Regardless, I'm good with all sorts of CR with him.

Though with Skull being a thing here, I've been tossing around the idea of Gil being part of the gang before shit hit the fan. He totally calls big G "Boss." This persona shit's weird, boss.

Character Name: Yuki'to Blaire
About them: Rather introverted. After a rough upbringing, Yuki'to pulls inward and keeps primarily to himself, yet he helps however he can from afar. This spurred him to look into machinery, flexing his intelligence. Now, if only he could flex a bit of social skill...
AU info: A script kitty (har) and a tech geek, Yuki'to operates in Tokyo by participating in robotics conventions, tech demos and some gaming outlets. He is something of an online vigilante, digging for information on those who cause trouble while passing things on to the authorities. Otherwise, he finds himself butting heads with other script kiddies on a regular basis. To feed this particular habit, he's an anonymous DJ feeding the world with a wealth of electronic tunes, making some showings while masked and curtained.
Persona and arcana: Yuki'to is Star Arcana, and his persona is an iteration of Neko Shogun. However, the shogun is cybernetic...
Superhero theme: Yuki'to adorns his DJ persona when he heads out in public to eliminate shadows or lend his aid to others, fully helmeted and geared in leathers and pads like some sort of street punk. His persona is supportive, offering status ailments to enemies while increasing damage to allies. He's the disruptor, basically. Also HIS AESTHETIC IS JET SET RADIO MIXED WITH ASSASSIN'S CREED OK I'M DONE I ADMIT IT
Superpower: Speed and ability. Considers tagging but he's already in enough proverbial hot water with authorities. Gets around using whatever gadget he happened to make the other day.
