As this is an AU of sorts, it wouldn't hurt to have a little planning and coordination. See if some characters don't start off knowing each other or anything like that. AU your dudes as much or as little as possible; this is the place to do it! Build your social links, be part of the world.

And never forget to bring SP recovering items. You're fucked if your SP hits 0.

What's their life like here? How different from canon, if different at all? You don't have to change much of anything, if you don't want to; we're playing it fast and loose here <b>Persona and arcana:</b> It's a persona game, so having these is kinda mandatory. And no, you're not hard locked in terms of how you summon them. Break tarot cards, use evokers, rip off your face, do the macarena, the choice is yours. <b>Superhero theme:</b> Due to reasons, the characters take up the mantle of superheroes to protect the city from the ever looming shadow threat. What's their costume like? Do they have a cool name? Have fun with this part. <b>Superpower</b>: Enhanced strength and endurance come natural with having a persona, but oftentimes you'll get a power unique to you. Laser eyes? Even more strength? You decide! <b>CR goals:</b> Anything in particular you'd like to do with your character? Yeah, I'd be cool to work with that! It's definitely one hell of a coincidence :B They don't have to have Los Muertos roots but maybe Gil's gang and Los Muertos have some history or something? But yeah, I am up for building something with these two!

I'm debating on the idea of Gil's mom being a devil summoner who became one thanks to...whatever company or gang she got affiliated with (would think it out but I'm too tired for planning right now) and maybe Sombra hacked into the same company? It'd be easy to learn about shadows and demons from a group that regularly deals with shadows and demons.

Ooooh that could be a thing, yeah! And then either that company (or maybe even a bigger, badder parent company) found out about Sombra hacking in and caused her to get spooked and flee, and set events in motion?

While possibly also setting Gil and his mom's escape into motion. She's been wanting out of it for a while and perhaps Sombra's interference gave them that opportunity to nope the hell out of there. If could give Sombra some insider info on what she dug up, once the topic comes up.

But those are the first thoughts that come to mind. <3

Yeah, I can see that! Sombra sees some info on like, idk, reasons for keeping Gil's mom in and Sombra's like aw hell nah and while she ends up getting found out and bailing, she causes enough damage and wiggle room for Gil and his mom to be able to get outta dodge. Maybe while she won't know Gil personally she'll recognize his mom's name. I like these ideas!
