It's Like a Drinking Game, Only (More) Terrible.
[Conversations between Minato and Souji tend to go either one of two ways: talking about their respective world-ending incidents, or ridiculous nonsense. Yesterday was much the former, as they touched on the topic of weird drinks. Minato's come across many, many weird things in his travels, and so after learning Souji hadn't even heard of some of the stuff he's tried, this Fool decides the best course of action was to find everything he could and bring it back for him to try.]
[Today at the HQ, that is exactly what he does. In the middle of the afternoon, Minato wheels in a large food cart full of random-ass bottles, cartons, cans, pouches, and flasks, all containing the strangest of finds. Where he even got half of this stuff is a mystery, since many of them he originally tried off-planet...]
[He wheels the cart to the sofa and starts unloading a few of the things onto the coffee table in front of it, as well as a stack of paper cups.]
Okay, Souji, pick one.. I'll drink it with you.
[OOC: Others are totally free to stumble across this scene and try stuff themselves, or play peanut gallery.]

I used to clear out the vending machines in Inaba whenever they stocked up with drinks, but they only had about 5 different types...
[Looking up, Souji couldn't help but grin at Yosuke's judgemental look.]
Yeah, partner. C'mon, it'll be fun!
[Already he was reaching for a brown can-- the label reading "Maso-soda! For the Masochist in you!]

He let out a sigh, grabbing a random, unlabeled flask, muttering as he opened it.]
When this thing kills me, neither of you are invited to my funeral...
[Yosuke tried not to think about what he was doing as he put the drink to his lips. ...Bottoms up?
He didn't want to admit it, but whatever this was might've been better than he first imagined... even if the taste was almost indescribable.]no subject
[Souji will get it, right? As for the drink he picked...]
Oh, that's an American drink they rebranded over here. Careful with that one.
[Meanwhile with Yosuke...]
Unless you're allergic to fruit that should- ...or you could just drink it without smelling. Okay.
[It was definitely wine. Hard to identify what it was made from, but it's wine. Nothing too bad.]

[Souji nodded knowingly, before springing opened the can and taking a good gulp...
And then making a face.]
Mmmm... tastes like colds during the school year. Right, I forgot Amercians liked this for some reason.
[Looking over at Yosuke, he smiled a little.]
You always take one for the team-- so I know I can depend on you.

waywaywaitaminute. Did Partner really just say that? Yosuke struggled not to spurt out his drink. Mission succeeded, but, instead, he managed to swallow down the wine way too fast...]
H-haha, r-right! T-that's me? Always dependable.
[Did his face look as hot as it felt? He hoped not.]

Coming from Souji, that means a lot.
[But now, back to the drinks. This time, Minato picks one out in particular: a plain-looking, unlabelled brown bottle.]
Junpei and I actually came up with this one one night in Tartarus. We were getting worn out, but the only supplies we had on us were Muscle Drinks and Rancid Gravy, along with a few medicinal powders. Junpei had the bright idea to mix them all together and maybe the bad side effects would cancel out.
[He pours some into three cups. It's a dark, thick liquid, so dark it almost seems to dim the light surrounding it. It seems more like stew broth than a drink.]
[It's slightly worrying.]
Everyone that's tried it says it tastes different. Tell me what you think.
