Wall flowers, you say? There's a fine specimen right here, in the form of a stiff-looking lady in a black dress and a blindfold standing around and looking awkward. She doesn't know what's going on here; there's no debriefing, no mission planning, no fighting, no orders... Without someone to tell her what to do, she's kinda lost. She can't even eat and pretend to be involved.

So instead the best she can do is idly poke at the jello out of boredom.

There might as well be a sign over her head that says "SOCIAL LINK HERE".

...Blindfolded? That's different. He wasn't sure if it was a fashion statement or some sort of tactical choice, but it definitely seemed to work with her over all look. He couldn't help be curious.

"So is that cloth you're wearing over your eyes mesh?"

2B looks up from the jello towards Souji. Evidently she's able to see through the cloth.

"It is a combat visor. It assists in targeting and provides tactical information in combat."

That doesn't answer his question, but okay.

Yep, totally able to see through it.

"That's amazing... so it's like the Navigators we have, only computerized."

She was... like Aigis, wasn't she? But maybe more advanced than her.

"I'm Souji Seta, by the way. I don't know if I've heard your name yet."

"My designation is the eighth Generation Anti-Shadow Weapon, Model B, Number 2. It's shortened to 2B on missions. I have been assigned to assist you and yours in investigating and stopping Shadow-related activity here in Tokyo."

Her introduction sounds practiced and rehearsed with military discipline. It would be impressive and professional in a briefing room, but here at a picnic it's just stiff and awkward.
