Meet, greet and eat
(To be perfectly honest, Cornelius didn't expect to find other persona users outside of himself and Guzma. The head of the Skull gang was a stroke of luck, but to have found so many others who can tap into that power and help fight off the shadows...it's a welcome relief.
Not to mention the large, large expansion to Cornelius' circle of friends.
So what's a rich kid to do when he's happy to have an extended circle like this? Throw down. A bunch of money to get everyone nice and fed for a day. He arranged for a catered picnic and invited his fellow persona-users and any friends they wanted to bring along. There's a bit of something for everyone, so pizzas, sandwiches, whatever, really. It's a large, open space, too, of anyone's in the mood for playing around. Just like the food, there's plenty of options there.
Cornelius would be lying if he said he wasn't thrilled to have so many people to hang out with. He just hopes they'll have fun while they're here.)

Don't look now, Mikasa, but you have a bowl cut talking to you right now, having decided to try some of the other desserts on the table.
"I was thinking of trying macaron, but those take a lot of time and the right temperature to prepare..."
Looking up at her, he offered the girl a gentle smile.
"No point in bringing something you're not proud of, right?"

"It's delicious."
A compliment. That's a good start. Try something a little more than that. Carry the conversation, Mikasa; you can't improve yourself if you just keep to yourself...
"...I've baked before, but it was nothing to be this proud of."

"That's good to know! Thank you for the compliment."
But she tired to bake before?
"Oh yeah? What did you try to bake? And really, baking can be rough the first couple dozen times you try. You wouldn't have wanted to taste my first attempts."

Mikasa adjusts her scarf, glancing down at it briefly.
"My mother loved almond cookies. She taught me her recipe a long time ago, but I can't remember it fully..."
That she's been trying to remember it ever since remains implied.
